As you mention in your note, IBM standard support for OS/2 Warp was withdrawn. Fee-based service offerings continue to be available via a separate services contract.

OS/2 customers have additional migration choices besides Windows. According to Q4, 2006 analysis by IDC, Linux is about a third the market size of Windows and growing almost twice as fast. Virtualization software, like VMWare, provides additional options.
